There is a series of stained glass windows around the Church, dominated by the east window (above the High Altar) where Christ is depicted reigning in glory with his mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary following her Assumption into heaven. The four Archangels (St Gabriel, St Michael, St Raphael and St Uriel) are shown in the upper row. The bottom row from the left shows St John the Baptist, St Peter, St Stephen and St Anne. These four saints where chosen to represent the worship of God by the saints in the "Te Deum|"

Stained Glass Windows

Hidden behind the Organ pipework is a splendid Rose Window, unfortunately this can only be viewed from outside where the visual effect is nowhere near as good as the view that would be obtained from the interior of the church.

Some of the stained glass windows, including the east window are by the renowned local artist Geoffrey Webb. His signature is a small cobweb in the bottom right hand corner.

Along the south aisle are four stained glass windows, the eastern most window shows St Augustine of Canterbury.

The second window contains St George patron saint of England, St Wilfred and St Richard co-patron saints of the diocese of Chichester.

There is then a plain window before the next window illustrating St Ambrose, St Jerome and St Gregory whilst the western most window shows St Joseph with the child Jesus, St John the Baptist and the child Mary with an Angel.

In the Baptistery, the window shows Moses, Jesus the Good Shepherd and Peter and Cornelius.

In the north aisle, there are just two stained glass windows, the easternmost of which shows St Katherine, St Helena and St Cecilia.

The second window in the north aisle shows St Monica, St Anne with Mary, her daughter and St Elizabeth with her son, John the Baptist.
