Useful Information Regarding The Church Hall

St Mary's Church Hall is a large Hall on the same site as St Mary's Church, St Mary's C.E. School, and St. Mary's Vicarage, on Windmill Lane, East Grinstead, RH19 2DS.

 

It is a fully fitted and furnished Hall, with tables of varying dimensions and shapes, designed to accommodate groups of all sizes. There is a fully fitted kitchen, but cooking is not allowed on the premises for safety reasons. We close the Hall each summer for refurbishment, to ensure that the high standard of decor and accommodation is maintained.

 

The Hall is let on a regular basis to various

Community Groups, and to St. Mary's

Uniformed Organisations (e.g. Brownies /

Rainbows / Guides / Cubs / Scouts / Beavers),

because of this commitment, all of our week

day evening slots are taken.  There are a few

day time slots and weekends, please enquire

for availability. 

 

Hire Charges (reviewed Annually by the PCC):

 

2015 Weekly Daytime (09.00 to 18.00hrs) Letting Rate: £11.50 per hour.
2015 Casual & Weekend Letting Rate: (after 18.00 hrs weekdays, and all weekend) - £17.00per hour.
2015 Regular User Letting Rate - Please contact Bookings Clerk for details (see above].

In addition to hire charge for casual bookings, there is a £20 Deposit which is payable at the time of booking, and either refunded or destroyed after hire, provided the hall is left in a satisfactory condition (with lights and taps turned off) after use.

 

Other Matters:
Maximum Capacity: 75 persons Seated.
Latest Expiry Time of Bookings: 23.59 hrs.
No ball games or inflatables are allowed in our Hall.
As the Hall is located in a residential area, we would request that users consider our neighbours when arriving and leaving.

Parking (at driver's own risk) is available, but not guaranteed.
